Trust

Quantum Knowledge, June 2004

Do you have control of your life? Do you have harmonious relationships with partners, children and work-mates. Do you lack energy or direction?

Energy is empowerment, empowerment is self-esteem!...................In Holistequine Equine Assisted Therapy programs we gain energy through the horse

That is, we learn to "know who we are"  – to trust our Higher Self and then let it guide us.

True feminine energy is intuitive “tough love”, establishing boundaries with authority and love. As we learn to trust in ourself we then apply this philosophy and learn to trust the world around us.

Our herd of 10 horses have shown us empowerment and trust in the feminine. The mares in the herd do this naturally.

After many years of research into the herd mentality we are able to create equine assisted programs. A young horse without adequate parental guidance is a natural bully. Many years later, after a mature herd had developed we understood the energetic dynamics and the power structure within the horse group.

How Equine Assisted Therapy can help with problems with children: Bullying and antisocial behaviour is:

  • A challenge for stricter authority
  • An inability to understand feelings
  • An inability to express feelings
  • Bullying is energy used negatively.

Our programs use the horse as an interactive tool for role playing. Equine Assisted Life Coaching is a form of Equine Assisted Therapy that is becoming increasingly popular

The horse mirrors the child’s (or adults) level of self-worth. They learn that, how they feel about themselves influences their energy field which then determines how others act towards them.

Holistequine sessions teach children to cooperate and communicate in groups so that successful, future social interaction is assured. A schoolyard bully becomes a workplace bully. Like horses, humans are social beings working and living in groups, unfortunately, for us, too much emphasis has been placed on competition which is often counterproductive to the natural desire to operate within groups.

After working with children’s Saddleclub for the past 5 years we are seeing some amazing developments, parents are giving us feedback on the positive changes they are seeing in their children.

Holistequine Equine Assisted Therapy programs fill the gap for families needing help or for those that are spiritually drawn to work with the horse.
